Alot of my relatives are from B.C!
So this summer we went up to visit , as i've done quite a few times before.
We started out in Summerland, then drove (the very scary...and muchly less taken) back road to Whistler!
On this road, at one point there was a 'slide' (rock slide) and it was labeld "very big slide" i guess they couldn't come up with anything better...because it was a VERRY big slide!
I was nervous as we slowly creeped around it, looking out the side window of the car and looking straight down of a cliff! Anyway, we survived, and spent a few days in Whistler. We went 'peek 2 peek' on a gondala from Whistler mountain to Blackcomb, which i would recomend! Lots of great hiking, saw 3 bears from the gondala and an incredible view! Besides the fact that everything is EXPENSIVE in Whistler...it is awesome!) I'd deffinetly go back again!
After that, we went to Vancouver, and went over one of the largest suspension brides in Canada...and then we went and played in the treetops, and went on a cliff walk also! (Alot less scary then you would imagine.) We also visited Playland...because what's a day in Vancouver with out a little thrill? WELL this day had lots! It is a much more traficy place, but once you get to your destination (as long as its not work/school) its a good time for sure!
